Got graffiti?...

With the major builds completed on Virtually Live, it is time to layer and detail the region starting with the stark white cliffs of Guitar Gorge.

Please send your favorite music quotes suitable for graffiti and help bring those cliffs to life!

Just looking at that makes me hungry...

While putting some finishing touches on the BBQ part of the pool venue for this Saturday's party on Virtually Live, a visitor said "just looking at that makes me hungry." :)

I asked Cheops, our resident expert food creator, to fit out the ultra-modern BBQ grills. Can you tell just a little that she's French? :) Great colors (heavy on yellow); a really beautiful build!

Edward Kyomoon Live on Saturday 28 August

For the last several weeks, I have been receiving IMs from many people apologizing because they are unable to attend events. For most, summer is keeping them busy in real life. We all appreciate this support a lot and completely understand obligations external to Openlife since we, the VLE team, have them too.

A recent VLE planning meeting was a moment of internal reflection among the team on what had happened during our first year (yes! Virtually Live's first birthday is coming up!). The response to the project by both performers and audience has been overwhelmingly positive. As I mentioned almost one year ago, music is a prime social mover and this has been shown to be the case each and every event. People meet and greet on Virtually Live from around the world (we've had as many as 12 countries represented at a single event) and enjoy great music. I think you can see clearly from our schedule how we've responded to your support and we will continue rolling forward while expanding the scope of events during our second year.

Meanwhile, think YELLOW for this coming weekend's pool party!

Kind regards,

Carah's outstanding performance...

Carah Nitely's personal warmth and talent shined last evening as she gave a really outstanding performance on Virtually Live. Thanks to Carah and everyone who came to enjoy her fine voice!

The wayward walkway...

What was originally meant to be a walkway to the drum maze, evolved into this system of decks and pools made from cymbals and drums. For a sense of the scale, I'm standing in the lower right pool.

Time for a pool party? :-)

An excellent Idella performance...

Idella Quandry gave an excellent live performance last evening singing a great selection of blues and soul as she played piano. She also took the time to compliment Openlife, tell the crowd how much she was enjoying her experience, and asked to come back. The crowd had no problem with that! :-) Thanks to everyone for coming!
